Departure from San Francisco to Dubai

Arrival Dubai. Meeting with our representative at the airport and transfer by bus to our hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast. Departure to discover the spectacular and lively metropolis of Dubai. Dubai, which developed from a small fishing village on Dubai Creek, today represents an attractive metropolis on the Arabian Gulf. The distinctive skyscrapers and gigantic shopping malls will impress all visitors. On our way we will make stops to take pictures of the impressive Jumeirah Grand Mosque. Burj Al Arab hotel and Atlantis hotel located in the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. We will pass through the DUBAI Mall and Burj Khalifa region, the tallest tower in the world and the centerpiece of the most prestigious urban development in the Gulf region to this day. Desayuno. Salida para descubrir la espectacular y animada metrópolis de Dubái. Dubai, que se desarrolló a partir de un pequeño pueblo de pescadores en Dubai Creek, hoy en día representa una metrópolis atractiva en el Golfo Arábigo. Los distintivos rascacielos y los gigantescos centros comerciales impresionarán a todos los visitantes. En nuestro camino haremos paradas para tomar fotografías de la impresionante Gran Mezquita de Jumeirah. hotel Burj Al Arab y hotel Atlantis ubicado en la media luna de Palm Jumeirah. Pasasaremos por la región de DUBAI Mall y Burj Khalifa, la torre más alta del mundo y la pieza central del desarrollo urbano más prestigioso de la región del Golfo hasta la actualidad. Desayuno. Hoy descubriremos los aspectos más destacados de Abu Dhabi, la capital de los Emiratos, conocida como la Joya Árabe. El puerto de Jebel Ali, el puerto artificial más grande del mundo, es uno de los puntos de referencia que pasamos de camino a Abu Dhabi. Visita a la Gran Mezquita Sheikh Zayed, una de las mezquitas más grandes del mundo. Desayuno. Excursión de día completo por la ciudad. Por la mañana, visita a Santa Sophia, el monumento más significativo de Estambul, hermosa maravilla arquitectónica que ofrecemos al visitante; además contemplada como una de la iglesias más grandes e imponentes del mundo. De ahí, visita al Palacio Topkapi, donde vivieron los sultanes entre1478 y 1856. Topkapi no es una estructura única, sino un complejo monumental orgánico formado por diversos quioscos, jardines y zonas repartidas que se ubican en la barriada o casco histórico a la entrada del Cuerno de Oro. Almuerzo en restaurante. En la tarde continuamos hacia la famosa Mezquita Azul, admirada por sus seis altos minaretes, terrazas y cúpulas que se alzan en el centro del edificio; comprobarás que el arquitecto consiguió su objetivo sin duda; la perfección con esta impresionante obra. El Hipódromo Romano, (época de Séptimo Severo) espacio donde tuvieron lugar las carreras de cuadrigas y circos, que sirvieron de diversión a los habitantes de Constantinopoli durante más de mil años. Finalizamos el día con tiempo libre para compras en El Gran Bazaar. Regreso a nuestro hotel. Alojamiento.

Desayuno. Salida de nuestro hotel para una excursión de día completo por El Bósforo. Por la mañana realizaremos una previa visita al Bazar Egipcio o Bazar de las Especias construido en el siglo XVII y situado en el antiguo barrio de Eminönü en Estambul. Seguimos a tomar el barco para el recorrido por El Bósforo (barco regular) realizándose a lo largo del Mar de Mármara por ambos lados de la ciudad: Asiática y Europea. Almuerzo a bordo. Durante este recorrido podrán contemplar monumentos como: Palacio de Dolmabahce, Çiragan, La fortaleza de Rumeli Hisarı, entre otros. Continuamos con la visita al Palacio de Beylerbeyi, construido en mármol blanco por el sultán Abdulaziz en el siglo XIX; el mismo, sirvió como residencia de verano a los posteriores sultanes y casa de huéspedes para dignatarios extranjeros. Subida a la Colina de Çamlica, conocida como la Colina de los Enamorados, ésta ofrece una majestuosa vista panorámica del Bósforo y Estambul. Regreso al hotel. Alojamiento.

Desayuno. Salida del Hotel en nuestro Bus hacia Ankara, capital de la República Turca. Pasamos por las montañas de Bolu. Visitaremos el Mausoleo de Ataturk, el fundador de la República Turca. Salida hacia Capadocia, una región histórica de Anatolia, que se caracteriza por tener una formación geológica única en el mundo. Pasando por el Lago Salado, llegamos a nuestro hotel. Cena y alojamiento.

Desayuno y visita de la espectacular región de Capadocia, única por su fascinante y original paisaje, formado por la lava arrojada por los volcanes Erciyes y Hasan, hace 3 millones de años. Visita de los numerosos monasterios y capillas de Göreme, excavados en las rocas y decorados con frescos del siglo X (algunos de ellos muy bien conservados). Pasaremos por la fortaleza de Uçhisar y el valle de Avcilar. Por la tarde, visita del pueblo de Avanos, famoso por su artesanía y los valles de Pasabagi y de Güvercinlik. Visita de la ciudad subterránea de Ozkonak o Serhatli, una de las 36 ciudades subterráneas de Capadocia que sirvió de refugio para los Cristianos. Visita del centro artesanal de alfombras y onix. Cena y alojamiento.

Desayuno. Salida temprano hacia Konya, capital de los sultanes selyucidas en el siglo XI. Visita del Caravansarai de Sultanhan, donde paraban antiguamente las caravanas de camellos en la ruta de la seda. Visita del Mausoleo de Mevlana, poeta y filósofo que fundó la secta mística y religiosa de los Derviches Danzantes. Continuación del viaje hacia Pamukkale. Cena y alojamiento.

Desayuno. Por la mañana, podremos disfrutar de Pamukkale, lugar espectacular único en el mundo, por sus deslumbrantes cascadas blancas y piscinas naturales. De camino hacia Kusadasi, conoceremos la antigua Hierapolis, la Necrópolis que contiene más de 150.000 tumbas. Continuación hacia Efeso. Ciudad grecorromana, antigua capital de Asia Menor y una de las mejores conservadas de la antigüedad donde se encuentran el Templo de Adriano, Templo de Trajano, el teatro, la Biblioteca de Celso etc… Visita a la Casa de la Virgen, lugar donde pasó los últimos años de su vida. Visita del centro artesanal de cuero. Cena y alojamiento.

Desayuno. Salida a Estambul via Bursa que fue la primera capital del Imperio Otomano. Bursa reconocida ciudad por sus mezquitas, fuentes, baños turcos y por la producción de seda. Visitaremos la Mezquita Grande del siglo XIV, la Mezquita y el Mausoleo Verde y el bazar local de seda. Salida con destino a Estambul. Llegada a Estanbul y traslado al hotel. Cena y alojamiento.

Desayuno en el hotel y traslado en nuestro bus privado al aeropuerto para embarcar en nuestro vuelo de regreso a S. Francisco.
